The Krema

In the same building as a vintage furniture store and a retro barber shop, The Krema inspired by ‘gentleman’s club’ concept fits just right in.  The Krema started by selling coffee on Instagram and the overwhelming response for their coffee prompt them to open a physical coffee shop to cope with the increasing demands. It’s an indication on the kind of quality of coffee that they offer and I gotta say, they did not disappoint.

Found out about the cafe opening through a blogger’s Instagram. Within approximately 30 steps of the cafe, already we were greeted by the wonderful coffee aroma – best kind of greeting.

Ordered their cappuccino, as I always do when trying out a new cafe. The espresso, milk and foam ratio is just right. Found out they used beans from Monmouth which I have always wanted to try for the longest time but never got the chance so I was quite excited by this.

So if you happen to be in the Kiulap area, do drop by. If you already did, drop me a comment I’m interested to know on what you think of the cafe 🙂

Opening Hours: Mon – Sat 08:30 – 23:00

Location:  Unit 31, Block D, Lim Eng Ming Building, Simpang 88, Kiulap.

  1. I just tried out The Krema couple of days ago. Loved the ambiance a lot and it was cozy. Good place for a friends’ gathering over cups of coffees and some light snacks to munch on. Thinking of returning again soon to try out their other coffee menus!

Have you tried the recently opened Kapra along Jalan Muara?

  2. Thank you for sharing your experience. I agree, the ambiance there is pretty nice. I heard their Flat White is pretty good, so you might want to try that on your next visit, if you haven’t already 🙂

Not yet, but it’s definitely in my list 😉
